My goal is to make this process of contacting a therapist as easy as possible, so whether you respond by phone or e mail I will be able to contact you right away. I will tell you more about myself and how I do what I do on the following pages, but before we get there, let's talk about why you may have looked me up. There is a good chance that you can identify with some of the following situations.

You are frustrated with the quality of your relationship and know you need help!
Do you pace the floors, over/under eat, or lose sleep worrying about your marriage or partnership? Are you afraid of falling out of love with someone you thought you would spend the rest of your life with? Are you worried by the fact that you two just don't talk easily anymore? Do you wonder what has gone wrong and are not sure how to fix it?
If so, I am the person you want to talk to. I actually enjoy helping people make sense of their lives. Although I don't have a magic wand to make all the difficult intersections of your life easy to cross, I do have the ability to remind you that even good relationships can be a lot of work at times! Whether you think your relationshp needs an emotional tune-up or a complete overhaul, I am a relationship expert who knows how to help you get your life going again.

You feel like you blew it! Somehow you got over involved with someone and as much as you want to put the pieces of your life back together again, you don't know where to begin.
Maybe you feel like a failure, or can't believe you did something so stupid. Maybe you have started referring to yourself as "damaged goods" because of your own mistakes, or because someone took advantage of you.
First of all I don't use words like 'stupid, worthless or damaged." I am much more interested in helping you find your strengths and then co -creating a plan that will ensure a bright and healthy future. Your mistakes can lead to learning some invaluable life lessons that can result in a better life. I can help you walk through life's dark paths, one step at a time. Because I've been there myself, I know what it takes for people to move from hopelessness to wholeness. And here's the good news; we know where to look to help you find those missing pieces of your life.

You are feeling overanxious or down in the dumps .
Although depression and anxiety touch most of us at some point in our lives, some people can be more affected by it that others. It's not just about feeling blue, and it's not a sign that you have an abnormal brain function. It's a lot more complicated that that. It's about sleep patterns, feelings about lack of control, people pleasing, genetics and how you think and proces the events and relationships in your ife, and more.
The way through these times is to find someone who can listen to your story and assist you in discovering what led you to this time of depletion. Healing occurs when you have better coping skills and realistic expectations for a rapidly changing world. It' s about learning how to compartmentalize life events so they don't run you over like a Mack truck! If you need medication to help get you going again, I can help you find a qualified professional in the area, but I would never consider that to be the only course of action. I am very good at helping people rediscover their resilience, inner peace and laughter once again.

You just need someone to talk to!
It just can't be Mom or your best friend, at least not yet. You want someone to listen to your thoughts or perhaps
allow you to vent and process the things that are bothering you. Maybe you need to work through the loss of someone you loved. Perhaps you just want some suggestions to ponder, or someone to help you evaluate different options for your life. Your story might just need to be shared and my office could be just the place to do that
at this point in your life.

I offer teletherapy through video conferencing.  If you have never tried this you may be surprised at how good an alternative this is to time consuming face to face meetings.
